The twelfth annual Benefice Pilgrimage, where we walk to all our churches, will take place over two days at Rogationtide in May. Rev'd Philip will lead the prayers at the various churches and he will probably be found leading the walk too, at various times! On day 1 (Wednesday 9thMay) the total distance of the walk is 10 miles, beginning at Weston Church at 9 a.m and finishing at Redisham at about 3.30 p.m.

Day 2 (Thursday 10th May) starts at Westhall Church at 9 a.m and finishes at Shadingfield at about 3 p.m. This walk is 8.5 miles. Both walks are divided into stages, so you can choose to do the lot or some or one of the shorter sections, if you wish.

The itinerary for Day 1 is:

9.00 a.m. Meet Weston Church

9.15 a.m. Walk Weston to Ringsfield 3.5 miles

11.15 a.m. Walk Ringsfield to Ilketshall St Andrew 2.5 miles

12.30 p.m. Lunch at St Andrew

1.30 p.m. Walk St Andrew to Redisham 4 miles

3.30 p.m. Arrive Redisham (tea)

These times allow for prayers at each church and refreshments.

 Day 2

 9.00 a.m. Meet Westhall Church

9.15 a.m. Walk Westhall to Brampton 1.25 miles

10.00 a.m. Walk Brampton to Stoven 2 miles

11.00 a.m. Walk Stoven to Sotterley 3 miles

12.30 p.m. Lunch at Sotterley

1.30 p.m. Walk Sotterley to Shadingfield 2.25 miles

2.45 p.m. Arrive at Shadingfield.

 All times are approximate.

If you are doing a full day's walk, please bring a picnic lunch. Day 2 (Thursday) is Ascension Day and there will be the special, annual Holy Communion service at All Saints' Church, Ellough at 7 p.m. All welcome to this, whether you have walked or not!
